Weber Rescue UK again exhibited at the Emergency Services Show in 2013. This year held at the NEC in Birmingham. We couldn’t wait to show off our products at the this new venue and decided to utilise the new dates by moving to an outside stand. It have us more room to demonstrate our dedicated ‘E-Force’ battery rescue tools which have revolutionised the market with their lightweight, compact and flexible design and show the essential part they have to play in the demanding rescue market. The main focus of this years show was our new SPS370 E-Force Combi Tool with removable tips. A step up from the original SPS360 E-Force. Along with this new Combi Tool came an upgrade on the E-Force drive unit giving more speed. This year again proved to be a successful year for the Weber Rescue UK team and we look forward to exhibiting at next year’s show, which will again be held at The NEC, Birmingham.

At the recent Irish Chief Fire Officer’s Association conference in Cork, Richard Wood from Weber Rescue UK took time out to welcome on board Cork City Fire Brigade to the list of Weber Rescue Systems E-Force Users. They are the first Fire Service in Ireland to take delivery of the E-Force tools through our Irish agents, Fireguard Fire & Rescue. The brigade opted for a Dedicated E-Force RTC Kit including a RSX180-80 Plus Cutter, an SP35L E-Force Spreader and a RZ1-910 rescue ram. The RSX180-80 Plus E-Force Cutter provides powerful 80 Tonnes of Cutting Force with an opening of 180mm, while the SP35L offers up to 17 Tonnes of spreading force. Both the cutter and spreader are perfectly complemented with the 1.3m+ opening of the RZ1-910 rescue ram. The addition of the E-Force tools to the fleet will literally allow the brigade to literally “plug and play” when they arrive at the scene while saving space and weight on their appliances.
